1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using KeySignals ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. These terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you and KeySignals, operated by Patrick Van Dop, Belgium.

2. Service description

KeySignals is a web-based keyword research tool that provides search volume data, competition scores, CPC data, trend analysis, and related keyword suggestions. The Service is intended to assist content creators, marketers, and SEO professionals in identifying relevant search keywords. Access is provided via a web browser at keysignals.io.

3. Free plan

A free tier is available without payment or credit card. The free plan is limited to 5 keyword searches per day, 1 keyword list, up to 50 keywords per list, and 1 month of metric history. These limits may be adjusted at any time. Free plan users accept that the service may be modified, reduced, or discontinued without prior notice.

4. Paid plans and billing

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly via PayPal. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorise recurring charges at the plan rate displayed at the time of purchase. Billing occurs on the same date each month from your initial subscription date.

Subscriptions automatically renew each month. You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, your paid access continues until the end of the current billing period; no partial-period refunds are issued except as provided under the money-back guarantee below.

14-day money-back guarantee: If you are not satisfied with your first paid subscription, contact us at [email protected] within 14 days of your initial payment and we will issue a full refund. This guarantee applies once per customer and does not apply to subsequent billing cycles.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use automated scripts, bots, crawlers, or any programmatic means to access or scrape the Service or its data.
Share your account credentials with third parties or allow multiple people to use a single account.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying data or algorithms of the Service.
Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service or the data it provides without express written permission.
Take any action that could damage, overload, or impair the availability of the Service for other users.

Violation of acceptable use policies may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.

6. Data accuracy disclaimer

Keyword metrics provided by KeySignals — including search volume, competition scores, CPC data, and trend scores — are sourced from third-party data providers and are provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of this data. Actual search performance may vary. KeySignals is not responsible for business decisions made based on the data provided.

7. Service availability

We aim to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

8. Account termination

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service, engage in fraudulent activity, or remain inactive for an extended period. Upon termination, your access to the Service ceases and your data will be deleted within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, KeySignals and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Belgium. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Belgium.

11. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
